If you are unable to connect to your Windows VPS using Remote Desktop (RDP), follow these steps to regain access:

Troubleshooting Remote Desktop Connection Issues on Your Windows VPS

1. Access the VPS Panel

  • Log in to the Client Area and navigate to your VPS service.

  • From there, you can open the VPS Control Panel, or you can log in directly at https://cloud.breezehost.io.

2. Use the VNC Console

  • In the VPS panel, click the VNC option (the button that looks like a console).

  • If VNC is not enabled, go to Options and make sure it is switched on.

  • This will open a noVNC session to your server, allowing you to see and control the VPS even if RDP is not working.

3. Verify Remote Desktop Settings

Once logged in via noVNC:

  1. Click on the Windows taskbar search box.

  2. Type and open Remote Desktop Settings.

  3. Make sure Remote Desktop is toggled ON.

4. Confirm Internet Connectivity

Check inside your VPS to ensure it has an active internet connection.

  • Open a web browser and visit any website to confirm.

5. Reboot the VPS

After making the above changes:

  • Reboot your VPS from the VPS Panel or within Windows.

  • Try connecting again via Remote Desktop.

6. Still Can’t Connect?

If you’ve followed all the steps above and still cannot access your VPS via RDP:
